                                                          VTEL Test Prep

Taking any standardized test can be difficult, especially if some time has passed since you sat in a classroom and were asked to write an essay.

This preparation class will concentrate on test phobia, technology phobia, and composition.

The preparation will lead you through a review of the basic grammar and the mechanics of writing, focusing on the 5 paragraph essay end the development of summary writing.

Practice with the VTEL type questions and scoring rubrics will offer test takers an opportunity to become familiar with the process and gain confidence in the ability to do well on the VTEL.

This is a 3-day review of the mechanics of writing, grammar review and spelling.

Emphasis will be on the development of the 5 paragraph persuasive essay and the development of the summary writing.
